This party took place a while ago but its just so darn cute that we had to share here. Its a Supergirl themed party by the blogger behind Tortoise and the Hare – and every detail is so sweet we can hardly resist it!
We don’t need to say much — just take a look! These first few photos were part of a photo shoot that took place prior to the party. We think this is a great idea — that way you have a better chance of getting those photos you want of the birthday girl/boy.
Darling invites with equally darling clothespins!
We love that the details are simple, sweet and very thoughtful.
And how fun is this? BINGO with color-themed M & M’s!
Darling, right? Now we want to have a Supergirl party! See more photos on the Tortoise and the Hare blog.
For those celebrating Easter, we hope you have lots of fun plans in store this weekend. We’ve spotted lots of great Easter ideas, including this simple but fun way to serve carrots and the super cute Easter cupcakes.
Have a wonderful weekend!
We’re constantly inspired by the styling for JCrew’s kids line, Crewcuts. The use of candy in this campaign from last year certainly lends itself to a slew of party ideas. An entire wall of candy buttons? Kids would be all over that. Literally, all over that.
We can’t get over Rosie’s beautiful cakes that she shares on her blog Sweetapolita. Not only is she a frosting expert (you’ll have a hard time convincing me that’s not real asparagus) but her cakes actually look tasty. There’s nothing more disappointing than a pretty cake that tastes like cardboard.
Don’t you wish you were her neighbor and reaped the benefits of her baking?

Jordan is sailing the Greek isles this summer and it’s leaving us itching to throw a nautical themed party where a cardboard sailboat and anchor cookies would be a must.

How much do we adore this invitation? Its wonderfully classic, simple but sweet! Isn’t the candle such a great idea?
Michaela used colorful paper decorations set against a simple white backdrop to throw together this fun birthday scene. We love the hand-cut letter name plates and the quirky addition of the animal masks on the wall.
