I really love putting together fun packages for friends mostly because I love receiving fun things in the mail and I hope other people do too. This is the contents of my most recent package that I put together with an ice cream party theme. I included mini invitations, ice cream toppings, cups, scoops, a popsicle mold and decorations like those colorful paper pinwheels and a happy summer sign made with die-cut letters and washi tape. Hip hip hooray for summer!

Happy weekend, everyone! We hope you have lots of summer fun planned and a happy father’s day to all the dads out there!
All of Eric Carle’s books lend themselves well to party inspiration but we have a sweet spot for the colorful pages of The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Search the pages of what the little guy ate and you’ve got the entire menu planned. Yum.

Any girl knows you can’t go wrong by adding a little sparkle. That’s why we can’t help but love this party dedicated to just that, sparkle. The metallic pinata and sparkler cake toppers are the type of details we’d like to see at every party.

Summer is here and so is the heat! We don’t know about you but we’re ready for some outdoor parties and to soak in all the goodness that comes with summer. We thought we’d kick off summer by sharing this fantastic sherbert & spice party that the super talented and sweet Victoria of A Subtle Revelry put together last year. There are so many fun details – we had to post here.
We love this canopy of dangling circles (575 to be exact!) – the perfect backdrop for a sweet party.
Darling ice cream sandwich wraps – so easy but festive! You can also download the wrap on Victoria’s blog here.
And lots of great activities for the kids, including individual handmade pinatas filled with treats for each of the little guests.
Now, doesn’t this make you want to have a summer party?

This would be darling for the little space/rocket loving boy or girl in your life.
We’ve admittedly had our fair share of origami disasters (fold down what, where?!) but these butterflies are too cute not to try. Here’s a video tutorial that will help you achieve this look. Now if we just position our mouse over the pause button, we might just get it.

You know when you buy trail mix from Costco and the chocolate candies are the first thing to go? This snack mix station is perfect because you can load up with the good stuff and forget the raisins. We have a feeling your party guests would be fond of it too.
