My sister introduced me to the easiest ice cream alternative, Nestle Dibs- bite-size chunks of ice cream dipped in chocolate coating. Just drop 5 or so “bon bons” on a plate with a cupcake and the kids do wild. Mom isn’t frantically cutting cake and scooping ice cream and the kids don’t even need utensils!

my mom always used to slice boxed ice cream so this post brought back some good memories. it was especially helpful with neopolitan icecream… so that you could get an equal amount of each flavor :)

Ohh — I LOVE the idea of serving the ice cream in cupcake liners. It might not be super functional for little kid parties, but it would be SO EASY to dish out before the party. And you could just slide the ice cream into little partiers bowls if necessary. So cute!
