Isn’t this invitation for a cooking party fantastic? It was sent in by Anna – she put together a cooking party for her son. The invitations were delivered by hand at school
We love how Anna used an everyday, affordable object to dress up her invitation. Super cute + easy! See more photos of the party here.

Did every kid get one at school? As a teacher I really prefer families not to hand out birthday invites at school. Someone always feels left out unless every kid is getting an invite.
very good point – thanks for sharing! perhaps neighborhood or out-of-school drop-offs would be better. : )
Such a cute idea! I love the mini-whisks.
Oh my goodness, I want to host a cooking party!

In The Netherlands it is actually normal to hand out the invites at school. And sure kids will feel left out, but they’ll find out anyway.
There are like 30 kids in every classroom and a party will only be for 7 – 10 kids.
I love this blog! Now I can see a bit of how some of you guys in the US organize a kids party.
SARA – life isn’t always fair and everyne doesn’t always hold hands and sing Koombiya. If kids wnat to hand their invites out at school then they should be allowed to.
