This week’s party comes to us from Allison, a letterpress designer and owner of Bird Dog Press. For Allison’s son’s 4th birthday they came up with a theme of fish, scales, stripes, splashes and more. Lots of fun for kids big and little!
A picture-perfect creekside location.
Lots of fun activities + gummy worms as prizes!
Gyotaku means “fish” “rubbing” and is the Japanese art of fish printing where fisherman would record their catch of the day. The kids took this to heart and createed their own fish art.
As a grand finale they sailed little wooden boats.
What a sweet and perfect party! Thanks, Allison, for sharing. Lovely photography by Julia Vandenoever Photography.
