real party: nautical party

October 5, 2010

Today’s nautical themed real party comes from Brenna of paper & ink. The party was for a three year old – hence the 03 theme!  We love all the thoughtful details and the fun nautical colors.

Bunting is always an easy and fun way to add splashes of color – and who doesn’t love a little bunting?  : )  Brenna also added a little bunting to the invitation.  So fun! Each child made a sail boat, and got to float it in big bins filled with seawater. The boat was then a party favor for the children.

And check out all the festive details.  Simple and sweet.

Lovely photography by Monkeys and Peas.   Thanks, Brenna, for sharing!  So fun!

Fantastic! I’m having a nautical/boat themed party for my son’s second birthday this weekend. Not on the beach though, what a great idea. I might incorporate some sand filled jars with little flags in them. So cute! Love the colors they used.

Adorable! I love the bunting on the invite – what a great idea for something different. I’m also loving the idea of serving drinks for adults at kids parties – when kids are so little, you know adults will be there. You might as well bring out the vodka lemonade!
