parties from the bookshelf: eloise

September 22, 2010

Sorry boys, this one is for the girls!  With the inspiration behind this party coming from the Eloise, there will be lots of pink and glam. But don’t forget the adventurous spirit behind the Plaza dweller, and make sure to include some fun exploring activities. Maybe a New York City themed scavenger hunt scattered with pink balloons?

Oh what fun to be a girl!

bow headband, chandelier decal, NYC in a bag, dessert buffet, tea party, candy poppers, red and pink stripe, placemats

Fun post! Eloise was my favorite book when I was a kid – and it just so happens that my 6 year old wants to dress up as Eloise for Halloween this year.

HOW delightful!

Ooh! Love this cute idea!

With the holidays in mind, it could easily be adapted for a fun, little girls holiday gathering. Based on the book/movie… A Little Miss Christmas at the Plaza party ; )

So cute! I love the little wooden block sets. I bought those while I was in NYC a couple months back to give to my kids for Christmas. They’re darling!
