We know its sometimes hard to come up with a fun but creative party for older boys – so that’s why we especially love this week’s real party. It comes to us from Hillary who threw this party for her seven-year old, Dylan. Dylan wanted to watch the movie Pink Panther 2 as a part of the party and from there Hillary created this creative party.
The invitations included secret agent trading cards and a mission description. The “scooby doo” fruit snacks with clues about Dylan were passed out to his classmates at school.
They created a scavenger hunt to find birthday presents…with first clue hidden in cupcake (warning from Hillary! do not eat! they learned the hard way!).
Party bags filled with extra amo (marshmallows), water granades, army men gummies, secret agent note book, magnifying glass and poppers.
Pelted by marshmallows with PVC guns (Hillary found the tutorial online- the boys each assembled their own with pre-cut parts)
Thank you, Hillary, for sharing Dylan’s party! So many great ideas.
