This week’s real party is a balloon party we spotted over on Brooke Reynold’s blog, Inchmark. We’re huge fans of her work and its no surprise we loved the most recent balloon party she threw for her 6 year-old son!
For the invitations Brooke rolled the invitations into a little tube and then slipped them into a helium filled balloon, along with a few pieces of confetti. Then attached a little tag that reads “Pop me!” to the balloon string. The invitations where then delivered to each friend’s doorstep (very fun!.
One of the main party activities was a balloon obstacle course. Read full details on Brooke’s blog.
For the cake, Brooke blew up little balloons (like the kind you use for water balloons) and tied them to skewers.
Favor bags were stenciled with a red 6 and held a few dot candies and a punch balloon. The kids used their bags to catch the candy from the “balloon pinata”.
Thanks Brooke for letting us share your balloon party – we love it!
