We love the idea of creating a red and white, vintage-inspired party around the classic Radio Flyer wagon. Lots of little touches like red and white paper straws, serving the food on wagons and simple bunting would make a really sweet party!
Sources: wagon t-shirt from Black Wagon, straws from Sweet Provisions, wagon, bunting from Hip Hooray (love their name : ); cookies from A Dozen Eggs, wagon print from ChalkChalk.

Have you seen my Vintage Toy Party?

This is a great idea! How about having a wagon parade as part of the party? Guests could bring their own wagons/trikes. Actually, decorating the wagons could even be part of the party fun. If the guests were old enough to be dropped off, the parade could be the final activity of the event, for all the parents to see. Fun!
ah, i love this idea!! i think my little noah needs that shirt…
we love that – what a great idea!!
My baby shower was Radio Flyer themed! It was perfect for our boy. We had mini wagons filled with grass for centerpieces. Also paper airplanes made from old comic books on spiral wire sticking out of them and hanging from the trees all over the yard (to add to the vintage feel). In the back yard we had a plastic full sized radio flyer wagon filled with ice and all the beverages. Inside we had a wooden Radio Flyer holding bunches of balloons. And of course radio flyer letterpress invites! Very cute!
